The Transaction Coordinator provides support to Amerifirst Poland Ohio team to manage daily workflow and aid in the effective and efficient operation of the branch. They work cohesively with Loan Officers/LOAs and Processors, providing administrative support and assistance with processing loans. The Transaction Coordinator provides quality loan packages consisting of all necessary credit and loan documents for submission to the Processing Team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete data entry into Loan Origination System for new loan applications
  • Request, save and compile confidential borrower documents, credit reports, income & assets
  • Assist Loan Officers following up with prospective borrowers to convert more sales
  • Schedule appointments for loan originators.
  • Generate loan application and disclosures to gain signature from borrower.
  • Greeting clients when coming into office for appointments
  • Review loan application for accuracy, borrower signatures and all required loan information
  • Communicate clearly with borrowers using the most effective medium to obtain additional information/documents and answer any questions or concerns.
  • Support Processors answering client phone calls and emails
  • Provide status updates to real estate agents
  • Coordinate with title company, real estate agents and borrowers to set-up closing date.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with Underwriting and Processing teams along with other internal departments.
  • Stay current with mortgage industry, product changes and Underwriting guidelines.
  • Understand and communicate with team members via EOS role requirements
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.
