POLAND, Ohio (October 28, 2021) – To better serve its clients and enhance the quality of life in the Valley, Amerifirst Poland recently expanded its mortgage lending team as well as its focus on community involvement.
“It’s an exciting time to be in the mortgage industry, and we’re happy to be in a position to grow our team to keep up with the homebuying demand in the Mahoning Valley,” said Matt Moore, who was recently named Branch Manager of the Amerifirst Poland office. “Our goal is to help anyone who wants to buy a home get the funding they need. Homeownership is an indicator of a strong community, and we’re glad to play a part in that process.”
Amerifirst Poland adds team members
As part of its staff expansion, the Amerifirst Poland promoted Moore, a long-time team member, to Branch Manager. In his new role, he will manage the office’s loan production from origination through loan closing.
Moore has been a mortgage industry professional since 1998. He is a 1997 Slippery Rock University Summa Cum Laude graduate and lives in Boardman with his wife and three sons.
New to the Amerifirst Poland team is Kevin McBryer, who is serving as a Loan Originator. This is his second stint in the mortgage lending field after previously serving as Branch Manager for a former Boardman firm and as the owner of a mortgage company in Cuyahoga Falls. In his new position at Amerifirst Poland, he will work to grow the office and serve Valley homebuyers.
Boardman native Drew Skrinyer has joined the Amerifirst Poland Team as a Loan Originator Assistant. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Anthropology and Spanish from Youngstown State University and a master’s degree in Anthropology from Kent State University.
In his role with Amerifirst Poland, Skrinyer will use his experience communicating with the Spanish-speaking community to assist under-served Valley families with the home buying process. He’ll also assist our team of Loan Originators with completing the loan process for all clients.
Focus on community involvement
Amerifirst Poland believes to best serve its clients and the region, it’s critical to be involved in community events, support important causes and work alongside other businesses and individuals to make the Valley an attractive place for families.
“The Valley belongs to all of us, and it’s everyone’s responsibility to play a role in making it a place we’re all proud of,” said Moore. “Our team is committed to working with the business community, civic organizations, and others to create a vibrant community where we’re blessed to live, work and enjoy.”
